The Heaven Piece is regarded by many as the most controversial weapon in the history of the Bridge. it was wielded by the Dragon Maught, until his eventual death and was destroyed soon afterwards.
History and traits[]
The weapon was made with the incredivle power of control over weather, enabeling the wielder to speed up the winds and conjure up lightning and tornadoes with reasonable control.
The broadsword that is the Heaven Piece was designed by Ungladen, one of the most capable Targh Mooth blacksmiths. He presented it to the Eumaniin Sculptor Lanec as he was sculpting Maught, for his acceptance. Lanec recognised it as an incredibly powerful weapon, possibly too much so, and other Eumaniin agreed. It was given to maught anyway, not long after he was born.
Although the sword proved to be an incredibly valuable weapon during the Plague Cascade, it was afterwards regarded as a potentially dangerous item, especially as Maught grew corrupt, and began threatening nations with it, and to a certain extent - the Divinities.
This was ended when the Dragon was confronted by Vaurs, who demanded that Maught hand over the weapon. Maught refused, and attacked the God. Although the attacjs he launched upon Vaurs were incredible, he was quickly overpowered by the God of Sorcery and killed when he fell back and Vaurs stepped on him.
The weapon was, afterwards, melted down by Targh Mooth blacksmiths
