Golems were made by the Eumaniin as a means of security. Each faction of the Golem race is made of the general layout of the environment in which they are stationed (eg, Forest Golems are made from Earth and Vegetation, compacted together) which acts as a form of camouflage.
Creation[]
It became evident at some point in the first 40,000 years of civilisation on the Bridge that grave-robbers and the like were making numerous attempts to steal from temples, some of the most sacred places built in the name of the Gods. The Eumannin quickly acted on this by devloping a series of puppet-like designs, their function being the defence of the temple they were stationed around. The final design was the Golem, which was made to not have a consciessness of its own, but acted in accordance to its function, and was highly difficult to kill. Golems proved quite effective.
